Qflow enforces limits on the number of guests that can be added via API per monthly subscription period. These limits apply to the total number of guests added across all events in the target Qflow account.

Plan Comparison

Account Type

API Guest Limit (per monthly subscription period)

Qflow Free

75 guests across all events

Qflow Starter

1,500 guests across all events

Qflow Pro

35,000 guests across all events

Enterprise

Not subject to fixed limits (refer to your contract)

How Limits Work

Guest limits apply to the total number of guests you add via API to any target Qflow account, summed across all events, within the current monthly subscription period.

Exceeding Your Limit

If you exceed the guest limit for the target account, further API calls to add guests are blocked and return a 403 Forbidden response.

Increasing Your Limit

Upgrade the target account to a higher plan to continue adding guests via the API. Once upgraded, resend your API calls. This process is fully automated -- no manual intervention is required.

Key Points

  • Scope - limits apply to each target Qflow account, across all events, per monthly subscription period.

  • Blocked calls - API calls that exceed the plan's guest limit return a 403 response.

  • Enterprise accounts - not subject to these fixed limits.

  • Upgrading - you must upgrade the account you are targeting to increase the limit.

Support

Review your API usage and upgrade target accounts if you anticipate needing higher limits. Live support for API-related issues is available with a 12-24 hour escalation window, with priority for Enterprise clients.
