Badge Printing Overview

Badge printing is currently available for Windows only.

Requirements

You need the following to print on-site guest name badges:

Prepare Your Guest Data

Guest badges can display up to three attributes: the guest name and two additional fields. The QR code is generated automatically at print time.

When creating your guest data file (.csv or Excel), include separate columns for each badge attribute. Add column headers to use as reference points during import.

The fields available for badge printing are:

  • First and Last name - the guest's name

  • Tags - group identifiers such as Speaker, Staff, VIP, or company name

  • Guest Notes - guest-specific information such as profession or company position

Match your data columns accordingly when importing into your Qflow event. The badge label displays whatever guest attributes you have mapped during import.

Connect the Brother Printer

Complete these two steps to prepare for badge printing:

  1. Install the b-pac browser extension:

Print a Badge

Once your guest data is imported and your printer is connected, follow these steps to print a badge:

  1. Log into your Qflow event on the web dashboard.

  2. Search for the guest who requires a badge.

  3. Select Print Badge on the guest profile page.

  4. Wait for the label to print, then peel and attach it to your pre-printed event badge.

The QR code on the badge can be scanned for check-in validation and for lead generation. For lead generation, set the check-in app to Scan Mode > List builder codes via Settings.
