Adding Prefixes and Titles to Invites and Check-in Data
You can add prefixes and titles (Mr, Mrs, Dr, Rt Hon, Lord) to your guest data for use in personalised invite inserts and on the check-in app.
Prepare Your Guest Data
Before importing, add a prefix/title column to your guest data file.
Open your guest data spreadsheet.
Add a column for prefixes and titles (column A is recommended).
Populate each row with the appropriate prefix or title for that guest.
Add column headers to help with mapping during import.
Import Guest Data with Prefixes
Import your prepared data file into your Qflow event through the web dashboard.
Select the Guests button on your event page.
Select Import Guests.
Drag and drop your file into the upload area, or browse to select it from your computer.
Hover over and click the Start here link on the second row to exclude the column header from being imported as a guest record.
Select Prefix / Title from the column matching dropdown.
Select Next Column to continue matching your remaining data columns.
Add Prefix Smart Fields to Invite Templates
Insert a personalised prefix/title into your invite template using Smart fields.
Open the invite creator and place your cursor where you want the prefix to appear.
Select the Smart field icon (blue lightning bolt) in the rich text editor toolbar.
Select Prefix / Title from the dropdown options.
The insert ##{{title}} appears at your cursor position. Add a space between the title insert and the name insert if needed.
Click the template preview image on the right-hand side to preview the result.
Qflow uses the first guest record in your list as the preview reference. That guest must have a prefix/title saved to their profile for the preview to display correctly.
Prefixes on the Check-in App
Prefixes and titles are available on the check-in app but are handled separately from the name search.
Name search - does not include the prefix/title, ensuring accurate and concise search results.
Guest profile - tap a search result to open the guest profile, where the full name including prefix/title is displayed. You can also check the guest in from this screen.
