Arrival alerts send automatic email and/or WhatsApp notifications to designated recipients when a specific guest checks in.
Step 1 - Locate the guest
Log in to your Web Dashboard.
Open the relevant event.
Use the search bar to find your guest.
Click the guest's name in the results to open their Guest Profile.
Step 2 - Enable arrival alerts
Click the Arrival Alerts icon above the Title / Prefix field in the guest profile.
A popup window appears.
Turn on the arrival alert function using the grey toggle button at the top right.
Step 3 - Add notification recipients
Click Add Recipients.
Enter the recipient's email address in the Email field.
(Optional) Enter the recipient's mobile number in the Phone field for WhatsApp notifications. Select the correct country of origin before entering the number.
In the Delivery field, choose the notification method:
Email Only
Email + WhatsApp
WhatsApp Only
Click Save Notifications to apply your changes.
Step 4 - Confirmation
Once saved, the system automatically sends an instant email and/or WhatsApp alert to all added recipients whenever that guest checks in.

Email is required for all recipients. When you add a phone number and select WhatsApp delivery, new recipients receive an onboarding email with a QR code to activate WhatsApp notifications. Existing recipients can use the Resend button to receive the setup instructions again.

Tips
Edit or remove recipients - revisit the Arrival Alerts for Guests settings in the guest profile at any time.
Country codes - ensure all phone numbers include the correct country code.
Missing alerts - check your spam folder and confirm you have accepted WhatsApp's terms of use.
Arrival Alerts is only available with a Starter or Professional subscription.
