Check-In Button Position
The check-in button on the guest profile page can be positioned at either the top or the bottom of the screen.
Top (default) — the check-in button is placed at the top of the guest profile, giving it visual priority.
Bottom — the check-in button is moved to the bottom of the guest profile, closer to where your thumb naturally rests when holding the device with one hand.
To change the position:
Open the Settings tab.
Find Check-in button top under Guest List settings.
Toggle the setting off to move the button to the bottom.
Moving the button to the bottom is recommended for staff who hold their device in one hand while managing guest entry with the other.
Full Width Tags
By default, tags on the guest profile are displayed as compact chips or tiles arranged side by side. Enabling Full width tags changes the display so that each tag takes up a full row.
This is useful when guests have tags with longer names that get truncated in the chip view, or when you want each tag to be more prominent and easier to read at a glance.
To enable this setting:
Open the Settings tab.
Find Full width tags under Miscellaneous settings.
Toggle the setting to the on position.
Skip Startup Screen
When you open the Qflow check-in app, it normally shows a welcome screen before you proceed to event selection or the scan page. Enabling Skip startup screen bypasses this screen entirely and takes you straight into the app.
This is useful for dedicated check-in devices that are set up for a specific event and restarted frequently - it removes one extra tap from the startup process.
To enable this setting:
Open the Settings tab.
Find Skip startup screen under Miscellaneous settings.
Toggle the setting to the on position.
Please note - this setting is on by default
This setting works well alongside Start on guest list page, which skips the scan screen and opens the guest list directly after sign-in.
