Tallies: How to create and manage your event door Tally lists.

A simple and effective way to keep track of walkup attendance and redeemable items.

Creating a Tally

  1. Select the Tallies button on your event page. A pop-up will appear.

  2. Enter the name of your tally in the name field.

  3. IMPORTANT - Please specify the type of tally you’re creating:

    • Leaving unticked: The tally figures will be added to the attendance number, e.g., walk-up sales.

    • Ticking the box: The tally figures will not be added to the attendance figures, e.g., drinks tokens or coat check tickets.

  1. Select the Create Tally button to complete the process. Your tally will appear within the displayed tally pop-up.

  • Attendance-based tallies will include a blue Include button.

  • Non-attendance-based tallies will include a blue Exclude button.

    Selecting the Include or Exclude button will toggle their status, and the figures will be reflected in real-time in your attendance figures.


Updating a Tally Total

  1. Select the (+) button on the right-hand side of the tally to increase the total.

  2. Select the (-) button to decrease the total.

    The tally figure will update accordingly, with any attendance-based tallies being added to the checked-in/out attendance figures.


Deleting a Tally

To delete a tally, select the red Delete button on the right-hand side of the tally.

Creating a Tally

  1. Log into your Qflow account and download the check-in event.

  2. Select the Guest List tab.

  3. Select the Tallies option at the top of the page.

  4. Enter the name of your tally in the name field.

  5. IMPORTANT - Specify the type of tally you’re creating by using the Exclude Tally from Total Attendance ON/OFF toggle:

    • Leaving OFF: The tally figures will be added to the attendance number, e.g., walk-up sales.

    • Toggling ON: The tally figures will not be added to the attendance figures, e.g., drinks tokens or coat check tickets.

  6. Select the blue Add button to complete the process. Your tally will appear listed.


Updating a Tally Total

  1. Select the (+) button on the right-hand side of the tally to increase the total.

  2. Select the (-) button to decrease the total.

    The tally figure will update accordingly, with any attendance-based tallies being added to the checked-in/out attendance figures.

  3. Select the Back button (top left) to return to the Guest List page.


PLEASE NOTE: Check-in app users cannot delete a tally or toggle between Exclude and Include. This can only be done via the web dashboard.
