Use this workflow to replace a guest's original ticket barcode with a new wristband barcode. There are two scenarios: checking in the guest and exchanging the wristband in one step, or exchanging the wristband without checking in first.
Check In and Barcode Reassignment
Use this when the guest has not yet been checked in.
Set Up the Check-In App
Sign in and download the event from the event listing screen.
Go to the Settings tab and enable Assign barcode.
Return to the scan screen.
Perform the Exchange
Scan the guest's ticket to check them in.
Tap the on screen More details button displayed on screen to open their guest profile.
Select the Barcode button in the footer of the screen.
Scan the barcode you'd like to reassign to the guest i.e. a wristband barcode
Confirm the updated barcode number popup message.
Tap OK to confirm the guests barcode number reassignment.
Note: The new barcode number replaces (overwrites) the guest's original barcode number and is saved to their check-in profile. The guest can then be scanned for checkout and re-entry repeatedly using the new barcode details.
Barcode Reassignment Only (Without Check-In)
Use this when the guest is already checked in or you only need to assign a wristband.
Search for the guest by name using the Guest list search, or rescan their ticket.
From the scan result: Tap the on screen More details button to access the guest's profile.
From a search result: Tap the name result to access the guest's profile.
Select the Barcode button in the footer of the screen.
Scan the barcode you'd like to reassign to the guest i.e. a wristband.
Confirm the updated QR code number in the on-screen popup.
Tap OK to update the guest's barcode.
Warning: If multiple guests share the same name (e.g., a multi-purchase with only a lead name), verify that the barcode number in the guest profile matches the guest's ticket before proceeding.
